Trustee's Message

It has always been our firm belief that entrenched attitudes can only be broken by genuine work, positive education and service at the grassroots level. Poverty, false beliefs and general ignorance have often been a part of many rural setups. It is only by joining hands with communities and kick-starting a cycle of positive change that the light of knowledge can be spread.

At the Nallamani foundation, our key focus is on affirmative action. We get down to the root of various issues and analyse them threadbare. This gives us the power and the understanding to deploy the correct resources in the precise areas and achieve real value in our endeavours.

This systematic approach creates and sustains a culture of excellence and enrichment both within the foundation and outside of it, thereby helping to keep a sustained motivation in all our activities. A strong strategic vision also creates trust in the central leadership and on the organization, thereby inspiring people to do more.

As a result of our activities, many rural communities have become self-reliant and begin to rank high on the educational and health index. Given that India is a largely agrarian economy and that a majority of the populace is rural, any initiative to improve the rural areas has a positive impact on the development of the nation and in changing the attitudes and perceptions of a majority of the populace. Over the years, the foundation has involved itself in a number of path breaking initiatives and achieved an enviable reputation as an agent for change. Thousands of individuals, especially women, have benefitted from our diverse range of activities and found a voice to their aspirations.

Our life’s mission at Nallamani Foundation is to continue to expand our activities and reach out to new areas. In this, we are grateful to all the partners, our staff, supporters and local heads who have supported us in the development effort. In the near future, we will go on to join hands with more partners and participants to create even larger networks and touch the lives of millions of common people in extraordinary ways.
